About This Program

Train to Compete.
Compete to Grow.

Competition training at Gracie Barra Celebration is for students who want to test their Jiu-Jitsu against opponents from other schools. Whether you're preparing for your first local tournament or aiming for IBJJF podiums, our Saturday comp classes are designed to sharpen every aspect of your competitive game.

These classes go beyond regular training. You'll work on tournament-specific strategies, positional drilling under time pressure, competition-rules sparring, and the mental preparation needed to perform when it counts. Our coaches help you identify your strengths, build a game plan, and develop the conditioning required for tournament intensity.

We offer two Saturday sessions: Kids Comp at 10:30 AM for young competitors, and Adults Comp at 12:00 PM for teens and adults. Both classes are led by experienced coaches who understand what it takes to succeed in competition.

Competition is never required at Gracie Barra — but for students who want to push themselves, the comp team provides the training, support, and community to make it happen.
